Olivier is a veteran in the rating agency industry with a career spanning 35 years which includes a 10-year formative passage at S&P, 5 years as Ratings Advisor for Barclays Commercial and 5 years at Moody’s where Olivier ended up as MD for the EMEA Region. From 2016 Olivier has run his own consultancy and fulfilled various INED roles, notably for GCR Ratings in South Africa and for ARC Ratings in Europe. Olivier is also a visiting professor at the London Institute of Banking and Finance and the programme director for the Future Leaders Group programme.
Oliver worked with Barclays Bank for thirteen years, performing a number of roles in Debt Finance & Credit within the UK as well as senior leadership roles based in both India & Africa. Most recently Oliver worked as an Investment Director at Qbera Capital LLP. He holds a BA Hons English from Kings College University (London).
Kunal began his career in investment banking in London and evolved to gather a vast experience in different sectors in Africa, Asia and North America both as a business founder and as a business manager. He is a Director of ARC Ratings Holdings, Limited and holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bath, England and completed the Stanford SEED program from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Dave has over twenty-five years’ experience in the ratings industry and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce and an Honours Degree in Economics from UNISA. He is the former CEO and Chairman of Global Credit Rating (GCR), and was responsible for building GCR into the largest rating agency in Africa. His expertise is in credit and strategic risk management and he relocated to Europe to help facilitate ARC Ratings’ international expansion.
Alex has over 23 years’ experience in credit ratings, having previously worked with Moody’s Investors Service in Milan and London. During the past 20+ years with Moody’s, Alex has undertaken several senior roles, across both analytical and commercial functions, including Italy Country Manager, Analytical Head of EMEA ABS Ratings and, more latterly, MD Head of EMEA Relationship Management. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Affairs, from the Boston University, and a MBA from SDA Bocconi, Milan.
Kofi, serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner at PASH GLOBAL, positions himself as a dedicated advocate for the global energy transition. A seasoned entrepreneur and venture builder in the renewable energy sector, Kofi is committed to nurturing innovative solutions from inception to combat climate change. With extensive experience operating across both emerging and developed markets, particularly in renewable energy and project finance, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. He is a lawyer by training and practised at Linklaters and Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe. Kofi holds degrees from Kings College, London and the University of Law (London).
Eric is a Partner at Alterra Capital Partners, an Africa-focused private equity firm. Eric’s extensive experience of nearly 30 years in international private equity ranges across a variety of sectors. He was previously Managing Director and Partner at the Carlyle Group first with the European fund and as Fund Head for the African fund. He is a graduate of PACE University (NY) and gained an MBA from Harvard Business School.
With more than 30 years’ experience working with banks, asset managers, and technology vendors, Andrea is applying her wealth of experience to Non-Executive Board roles and company transformation mandates. Previously Global Head ESG Solutions and of Research and Data Analytics at Moody’s Corporation, Andrea brings an unrivalled experience of research and analytics businesses. Andrea held senior roles in North America and the UK as a banker serving large multi-national corporations and Financial Institutions. She is a graduate of McGill University and gained an MBA from the Alliance Manchester Business School.
